STEREOTYPE #6: THE DRAMATIC LOVE TRIANGLE.
TYPICALLY PLAYED BY: NINA DOBREV, PAUL WESLEY & IAN SOMERHALDER
(suggested by an anon)
So it has been played around a LOT that people use these three and then replicate the plot from The Vampire Diaries. Both boys want the girl, girl is torn between them, you know how it goes. But why does this need to be the only awesome love triangle going around right now?
Now, we only have one suggestion for this, because I mean, come on, thinking up love triangles can have SO many possibilities, but we kind of love this one. Emma, Jesse & Andrew all have various real life connections to each other, and everyone has their own favorite pairings between them, so this triangle can go a TON of different ways, and it would be awesome to see plots between the three of them in the love triangle drama category.
Suggestions: Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield & Jesse Eisenberg
Hm, I’m not very experience with historical RPs, so hopefully these help. Maybe Jesse Eisenberg, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jackson Rathbone or Cory Monteith could work.
I looked around and I don’t have EXACT matches, but hopefully these can possibly fit for you:
Jodelle Ferland, Darla Baker, Camilla Belle, Barbara Palvin, Emma Roberts, Kaya Scodelario, Sunny Sultana or Haley Scott (who is a photographer, so to find her photos it is better to search with the tags “photographer” or “michigan” and look on flickr as to avoid confusion with the OTH character).
Hopefully, one of these works, and sorry I don’t have much for a spot-on match.
STEREOTYPE #5: THE EMOTIONAL, YET STRONG, GIRL.
TYPICALLY PLAYED BY: DIANNA AGRON
(suggested by roxyrichter)
If anyone has seen Glee, you’d know that Dianna’s character is exactly this. An emotional, yet strong, lead female character. She has confidence, but seems like she can have her soft moments, her moments of weakness that break through. Well we feel like these girls could fit the role as well.
Suggestions: Emma Stone, Troian Ballisario, Emily Browning, Tiffany Hwang
STEREOTYPE #4: THE MOODY BOY FROM THE WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS.
TYPICALLY PLAYED BY: PAUL WESLEY
(suggested by the—honeybadger)
The great thing about these types of characters is that they can be played a lot of different ways with a lot of different looks. With characters like “the rich, pretty popular girl” or the “jock womanizer” typically have a “type”, you can’t really put a type simply on where a person comes from and their emotional standpoint. Which is why we’ve given four guys who all have different looks, but could still very much be believable in the part.
Suggestions: Robert Pattinson, Robert Sheehan, Vic Fuentes, Josh Beech
